Sponsorship and Donations

Financial support

It costs over £4000 per week to keep our doors open. Our schools and out of school activities, serving children both from the local community and further afield, are greatly valued, but expensive to maintain. Although charges are made for some activities, they do not cover our costs.

To bridge the gap, we rely on financial support from community-minded individuals and grant making bodies, but it is a constant struggle to make ends meet. And we are in competition for the limited amounts available from donors with many other worthy organisations.

So, please consider helping us keep the Ragged School Museum open by making a donation to the Trust, of any amount. Perhaps you might consider a legacy to the Trust in your will, or a regular payment to help us plan our future with greater certainty.

We are a registered charity and so can benefit from any gifts made under the Gift Aid scheme.

To make a donation online (using a credit card), please click on the button below. Your donation will be processed by Paypal, our secure online donation facility. (Online donations will be governed by our terms and conditions.)

Or, to make a donation via cheque, you may simply send a contribution to us by mail at 46-50 Copperfield Road, London E3 4RR.

An additional way you can support the museum is to use the search engine Everyclick, which gives a portion of its earnings to charities. So you can raise money for us just by surfing the web! To find out more and to sign up, please follow this link: Everyclick.
