This Easter at the Ragged School

DSC03802Thanks to all our visitors who joined us during our programme of free arts activities over the Easter Holiday!

This Easter, we looked to 19th century art and design as our inspiration. We considered the work of William Morris, the Martinware brothers and Charles Rennie Mackintosh, as well as admiring some beautiful Gothic Revival architecture! DSC03811

Across four days of free family activities, we were joined by more than 500 visitors, and assisted by more than 15 wonderful volunteers! Visitors were offered the chance to become artists themselves, and many took away armfuls of their marvellous creations. The Victorian Classroom and East End Kitchen were also open for visitors to explore.

There’ll be more free activities during the May Half Term, on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th May, 10am-5pm.
