The museum is indebted to its team of wonderful volunteers and we are regularly looking to recruit more helpful folk.

Education Programme Volunteers

Museum of the East End. by Andy Sewell24/09/04During term time the museum runs a lively programme of educational activities for schools. We require regular volunteers to assist with the delivery of our object handling sessions and the general day to day running of the education programme.

We do not currently have any Education Programme Volunteer spaces, but we will advertise here when they are available.

This role is ideal for anyone wanting to break into education or the museum/heritage sector, or for anyone who loves working with children!

Education Volunteer Role Description

Family Learning Volunteers

Family Learning Volunteers May Half Term 2015

Every school holiday we run fun, informal family learning activities for children ages 0-12 (and their families!). We need lots of enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to get stuck with our activities and help our little visitors have a great time.

We will run our educational craft activities on Wednesday 8th April, Thursday 9th April, Wednesday 15th April and Thursday 16th April 2020. We will not be able to achieve this without the invaluable support of our fabulous volunteers who will be on hand to assist with the activites, answer questions and make our visitors feel welcome.

If you would like to help us over the holidays please contact the Learning Team directly on 020 8980 6405 or by email using schools@raggedschoolmuseum.org.uk for more information!
